The FirmOur client is a progressive Accounting practice located in Malvern and they are looking for a driven and highly organized Administration Assistant to join their growing team.
Your typical duties and tasks may include:
- Managing email correspondence with internal and external parties
- Maintaining the client database such as updating client information
- Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients in regards to general enquiries
- Liaising with ASIC
- Preparing letters and other documentation for clients
- Collating tax returns and lodgements of income tax returns through the ATO portal
- Scheduling meetings and ensuring the meeting rooms are available
- Meeting and greeting clients
- Answering phones and assisting client with their queries
- Any other adhoc administrative tasks as required by the Accountants & Partners
- At least 2+ years experience working in public practice accounting or similar
- Be a people person and love talking to new people
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to pick up new systems quickly and efficiently
- Ongoing internal training provided to up skill your current skills
