It is a long-life, low-cost, world-class asset in a core Newmont region. The Tanami Expansion 2 project, aims to extend the mine life beyond 2040, investing in a hoisting shaft which will increase the production of the underground mine from 2.6 Mtpa to 3.2 Mtpa. Both the successful exploration within the underground operation and implementation of the first Tanami Expansion has laid the foundation to further develop the operation to remain a major contributor to the Newmont portfolio. A fully equipped camp is located 40km from the site offering leisure facilities for those flying in from Perth, Brisbane, Alice Springs or Darwin.The roleWe are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Administrator to provide administration support to our DBS Mine Maintenance Department.In this role, you will
- Reconcile and process invoices in SAP and regularly liaise with vendors and provide updates and maintain associated accounting accruals.
- Collect, follow up and maintain statutory compliance records for all fixed and mobile assets In SAP as per the procedure.
- Support Maintenance and Engineering teams with statutory compliance activities.
- Report monthly to management team on any noncompliance exposure with statutory compliance obligations.
- Facilitate processing of documentation associated with the engagement of contract and Newmont personnel on site (travel and accommodation, medicals, police clearances, site inductions, PPE requests and IT access) using INX Flights system, Trout roster and Discovery, communicating weekly with ESS and Granites Flights.
- Maintain leave, roster and TIL register for the Department, ensure all relevant documentation has been forwarded to HR when required. Complete audits on the department roster and INX on a monthly basis and ensure that personnel have the SAP approved leave when requesting changes to flights in INX system.
- Complete monthly roster data checks and ensure that Workgroup, Cost Centres, Supervisors and all other personal data is current and correct.
- Prepare New Starters PPE including ordering shirts with employee name, printing personal danger tags and book relevant inductions, including meet and greet new starters at the Village.
- Maintain and update departments organisation charts as required.
- Maintain and update start room notices and reliability reports.
- Support maintenance teams with basic use of technology including iPads and assist new users with initial SAP set up for menu, variants and settings and some SAP basics.
- Ensure that high standard of work is produced at all times meeting required deadlines while complying with Newmont's policies and procedures.
