Your role will involve efficiently processing customer transactions while providing essential administrative support to the accounts department.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Ensure all incoming calls are promptly attended to.
- Manage email correspondence promptly.
- Conducting customer transactions at the point of sale
- Maintain adequate supplies of consumables such as stationery, printer, and kitchen supplies.
- Assist in the induction of new staff regarding administrative processes.
- Handle payment and invoicing for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable customers.
- Communicate effectively with Sales Representatives and Yard Staff.
- Manage customer data on the system with precision.
- Perform essential housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness in lunchroom, office, and bathroom areas.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- Good Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to complete a range of tasks independently
- Basic understanding of financial transactions
- High attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
