We are able to achieve this through a comprehensive fleet of over 30 modern mobile cranes and ancillary equipment operated by experienced, resourced personnel. Having opened a new facility in Paget, Mackay in 2023, Universal Cranes North Queensland provides Franna, All Terrain mobile, and crawler crane hire throughout the region. From Mackay and the central Queensland coal fields of Moranbah and Dysart, to the Torres Straits, to the mineral region around Mt Isa, and the Gulf country of Karumba, Weipa, and Borroloola in the NT, we can do any lift, anywhere, any time!
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to support our Universal Cranes North Qld team on a part time basis.
Reporting to the Mackay Operations Manager the qualifications and experience are required as below.
About the Role:
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate great communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and cohesively with the broader team. You will have a proactive mindset, who is a team player that has the flexibility to meet the changing needs of the business.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, duties include by not limited to:
- Oversee the day-to-day office operations to ensure a smooth workflow
- Uniform / PPE ordering and maintenance
- Booking / Managing travel arrangements
- Raising Purchase Orders
- Maintaining the office space and re-stocking office supplies
- General administration duties
- Accounts payable and receivable processing and reconciliations.
- Identify opportunities for procedural and continuous improvement.
- Managing the filing of documentation
About you:
- Minimum 1-2 years of administration experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Diary management skills and experience with Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience with NetSuite Oracle (preferred).
- Intermediate skills in MS Excel and Word.
