What You Will Be Doing
The Administrative Assistant works within a team to provide secretarial and administrative support to the Department of Surgery. This is a critical position that enables effective communication across all Frankston Departments as well as broader Peninsula Health personnel.
The Administrative Assistant team ensures effective functioning of all aspects of the Department, including rostering, liaising with the Waiting List booking office, Outpatients, Emergency Department, Human Resources, Payroll and various other stakeholders across Peninsula Health.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- Experience at a senior administrative level
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including professional telephone manner
- Ability to prepare letters, emails and documents using clear, concise and grammatically correct language
- Strong attention to detail

*Please refer to salary circular for the Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2021-2026 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
