About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administration Assistant – a true administrator to join our growing team at NewDirection Care.
Responsibilities
To ensure success in this role you will need to be able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and undertake a range of generalist HR administration duties including:
- Support with general administration across the business.
- Recruitment, including pre-employment checks for new starters.
- Employee Contracts, On boarding and Induction of new recruits
- Compliance of all staff with training and mandatory employee documents in line with NDC policies, and current national and state laws and regulations
- Maintain employee personnel files, assist with file audits, HR registers & databases.
- Coordinate the All team meetings and agenda items.
- Liaise with internal and external Training Providers
- Administrate On-line learning modules
- Consult with Leadership team to identify Skill gaps, training effectiveness, Succession, and development training needs
Skills and experience
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in office software, and HRIS systems (e.g., MS Office, Google Suite) and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Previous experience in staff recruitment, compliance, onboarding, and induction of staff
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience working in the Healthcare Industry Preferred but not mandatory
