Role Overview

The Receptionist is responsible for providing a professional and welcoming first point of contact for all clients, visitors and staff via phone and in person.

Key to this role will be the ability to efficiently identify the needs of the caller/visitor and action in a timely and professional manner in addition to other administrative responsibilities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Answer, screen and transfer calls in a timely and professional manner

• Greet and welcome visitors upon building entry

• Respond to admin emails and forward to appropriate staff members

• Create welcome packs for new clients being onboarded

• Restock staff vending machine

• Distribute supply orders

• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the reception area (including any housekeeping tasks)

• Any other administrative tasks as required

Qualifications:

• Nil

Experience:

• Previous administration experience (essential)

Skills & Knowledge:

• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• The ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and prioritise accordingly

• High level of conflict management skills

• Ability to de-escalate upset clients
