Wattle Range Council forms part of the picturesque Limestone Coast Region. Nestled in the South East corner of South Australia, the Council stretches from the sea to the Victorian border and incorporates the Coonawarra wine district. The Administration Manager is accountable for the effective development, co-ordination, and leadership of Council’s Administration Team. The Administration Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of Council’s customer services, records management, communications, property land management and administration functions in an efficient and timely manner.
We are looking for someone with:
- Tertiary qualifications relevant to the portfolio and/or evidence of substantial relevant experience at a senior management level;
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, transform and enhance a team to deliver a diverse range of services in a dynamic, customer and community focused environment;
- Sound decision-making skills including a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and managing conflicting priorities; and
- Sound knowledge of legislation, regulations and codes applicable to Local Government.
An attractive remuneration package in the range of $108, 221 to $114, 435 of the Wattle Range Council ASU Enterprise Bargaining Agreement, dependent on the qualifications and experience of the applicant is on offer. This position is full-time and entitled to a rostered day off each month.
