Finance & Administration Manager

The Finance & Administration Manager will be a key member of the team with responsibility for end-to-end financial processing, management and reporting. They will provide efficient operational and administration support and corporate services for the Directors and Consulting team in a central role supporting quality client service delivery.

The key position responsibilities include:

Financial Management

• Manage the Xero software platform
• Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable processing and reporting 
• General Ledger processing and reporting
• Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts, present timely and accurate monthly financial reports
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislative requirements including taxation, superannuation and contractual arrangements with staff and service providers
• Engage with external Accountants re annual statutory accounts and taxation
• Prepare Sales reports and analysis and comparison to target reports 
• Assist with Project and tender costings and submissions

Payroll

• Process payroll for employees
• Ensure compliance with reporting and payment obligations for PAYG and Superannuation

Administration and Corporate Services

• Provide general administration support to the consulting team in design and development of client resources and collateral
• Assist with scheduling, diary management and provide project administrative support
• Manage office occupancy arrangements and requirements
• Engage with external vendors regarding ICT support and Insurances
• Provide support for client activities and enquiries
• Support the induction and onboarding of new employees and associates
• Schedule team meetings, in consultation with the Chief Executive prepare agendas and monitor actions

Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in a financial accounting / financial management role with hands on experience managing the General Ledger, processing and reporting
• Demonstrated experience in the preparation of budgets and forecasts and performance and variance reporting
• Demonstrated experience with Accounting software packages and all ledgers (Xero an advantage but not essential)
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel for reporting and analytics

Qualifications

• Degree qualifications in finance, business administration or equivalent 
• CA/ CPA Membership (desirable)
