The City’s Community Development Directorate provides a broad range of facilities, services, projects, and events that directly impact the daily lives of our 224,000 residents and visitors.
The Directorate works to develop safe and vibrant places and deliver services and facilities to support a community that is healthy, welcoming, and thriving.
The City of Stirling has partnered with nine other support organizations to develop and deliver the Naala Djookan Healing Centre which is a specialist service that supports women and their children who are at risk of or experiencing family and domestic violence (FDV).
The Naala Djookan Healing Centre provides individual case management support as well as a range of therapeutic programs to support women to recover and heal from the impacts of FDV.
About the Position
The Administration Officer plays a crucial role in the service as they are the first experience someone has of contacting the Naala Djookan Healing Centre. You will be a part of and supported by a close-knit, high-functioning team and provided with learning and professional development opportunities so you can thrive in this busy role.
Key Responsibilities
The duties of the Administration Officer will include but are not limited to:
Maintain awareness of current issues in the galleries, libraries, archives and museum sector by ongoing reading, training, and professional development.
Prepare statistical and other reports as required.
Ensure systems operate efficiently including correspondence, timesheets, customer service response and record keeping.
Leads team accountability and high-performance standards to ensure exceptional performance.
Manage resources to ensure services are maintained and objectives are delivered.
About You

Well-developed interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
Intermediate computer skills, including using MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
Current National Police Clearance (less than 3 months old).
Current Working with Children Check WA.

This is a temporary full-time position, until the end of June 2024, with possibility for extension. This role is a Level 4 Inside Workforce Agreement position which attracts a salary from $68,114.24 gross per annum plus superannuation.
To be eligible to work for us, you need to provide, or have ability obtain a:
A copy of Australian driving licence.
National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months).
Pre-Employment Medical and DAS clearance.
The right to work in Australia.
