Our Federal Government client is seeking an Administration Officer at the APS 4 level to provide administrative and operational support to local business teams which may include a mix of finance, human resource, property, information
technology and other corporate activities.
Duties
- Provide information and draft replies to straightforward queries about procedures, guidelines and policies
- Provide advice and procedural guidance to staff and stakeholders on routine matters
- Perform financial administration tasks including money handling, receipting, payment of invoices and associated processing, reconciliation of data, and contributing to financial reporting
- Verify and reconcile payments and invoices
- Assist in the preparation of draft policy documentation for review by senior staff
- Provide executive support including travel arrangements, diary and appointments, and secretariat functions
