Position Overview:
As MLG Oz continues to experience ongoing growth, part of the people and performance department, so are the Recruitment & Mobilisation team. We are seeking a Recruitment Manager experienced in leading, managing and growing high performing recruitment teams.
It’s okay if you don’t come from the mining or haulage industries, but you must have expertise in high volume, blue collar positions, experienced in end to end recruitment and mobilisation processes.
Reporting to our Human Resource Group Manager, this position is:
- Perth based in the CBD.
- A permanent full-time position.
- Monday to Friday, 40 hour week between the hours of 7.00am – 5:00pm with flexible working arrangements.
The purpose of your role is to deliver dedicated, efficient end to end recruitment and mobilisation service to all our business operations. Some of your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Manage your team to ensure the team delivers an effective recruitment and mobilisation service.
- Oversee and be accountable for the recruitment and mobilisation processes.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure recruitment and mobilisation strategy is implemented to provide the company with an available workforce to meet workplace outcomes.
- Training and development of the team.
- Identify attraction and sourcing opportunities.
- Provide reports and present relevant information to management.
- Attend and represent the company at industry events and expos.
To be considered for this role you will need have the following:
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience managing a busy recruitment and/or mobilisation function.
- Extensive experience working in blue collar, high volume recruitment.
- Experience in construction, earthmoving, heavy industries, ideally mining and haulage.
- Experience with MS Office suite, ATS (ideally ELMO) and other organisational software programs/tools.
- Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) advantageous.
- Ability to apply critical thinking, analysis and problem solving with an operational lens.
- Ability to plan, organise and lead to drive positive outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and engagement skill.s
- Continuous improvement mindset and approach.
- The ability to pass a Pre-employment medical, incl. Drug & Alcohol screen.
- Experience in or knowledge of human resources advantageous.
- Current & Valid Driver's licence.
