What is tax depreciation for investment properties?
When a property is built or renovated, over time, its structure and the assets contained within it wear out – they depreciate in value. The Australian Tax Office (ATO) allows owners of rental properties to claim this depreciation as a tax deduction. This is where BMT comes in – we provide industry-leading depreciation reports for our investors to use at tax time.
About the opportunity
We are seeking a bright and motivated individual to join our team as a Business Support Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting with various business operations. You will work closely with different departments, ensuring smooth daily operations and efficient communication within the organisation.
As Business Support Officer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the company by providing support to our team members and clients. With a strong focus on creating experiences, we aim to provide exceptional customer service to make our interactions with clients memorable.
The role is diverse and will see the successful candidate gain exposure across BMT's operations, providing core skills and knowledge for continued growth and career progression.
About you
You are positive, self-motivated and enthusiastic with exceptional customer service and time management skills.
You are also:
- A proactive team player with a passion for customer service
- Focused on attention to detail
- Comfortable using a variety of office software such as emails, databases, spreadsheets, etc.
- Computer literate with sound computer and data entry skills
- An excellent communicator with a professional phone manner
- Organised and can multi-task in a diverse administration role
Qualifications in Business Administration are highly regarded but are not essential.
