About Bara Barang Corporation Ltd
Bara Barang Corporation Ltd (BBC) delivers cultural education, career planning, training, employment, workplace mentoring and driver licence access programs to Aboriginal young people and involves employers and industry groups in providing vocational pathways.
Purpose of the job
Provide administration to support the efficient delivery of Bara Barang's programs and assist the team with the daily operational tasks of the company.
Essential criteria
· Ability to provide receptionist and administrative support to the team, welcome clients, answer phone calls, receive and allocate online referrals, organise meetings, events, workshops, attend team meetings, assist with accounts and filing, keep accurate records, develop product and service knowledge to answer inquiries.
· Effective engagement of young people and understanding of strengths and challenges experienced by local Aboriginal people
· Work in a culturally safe and supportive work environment
· Work within a team environment to promote all our services and ensure quality customer experiences
· Current Drivers License (or willingness to obtain)
· Working with Children & National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
