Arcadia College (www.arcadia.qld.edu.au) is a Co-Ed Independent Secondary Special Assistance School located at Robina, Gold Coast.
Our school actively engages young people who have prematurely disengaged from mainstream high schools both on campus and through Distance Education. Due to our continued growth Arcadia College is seeking a dedicated Administration Officer to join our team and contribute to the efficient and professional administrative operations of our Distance Education program. As an Administration Officer, you will play a key role in providing essential support to Distance Education students, staff, and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and general support to parents, staff, and students with a focus on confidentiality and professionalism.
- Assist in resolving system communications issues and conflicts.
- Manage reception and telephone duties from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Coordinate administrative tasks related to Camps, Excursions, Meetings, Events, Awards, and Buses.
- Support the Distance Education program by maintaining student records, handling parent communications, and managing the email account.
- Ensure compliance with Child Protection policies and demonstrate a commitment to student well-being.
Key Requirements:
- Relevant experience or qualifications in an administrative role.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the school sector.
- Understanding of Apple iOS and OS X operating systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Apple, and Microsoft Office programs.
