Permanent Part Time - 30.4 hours per week

Part Time: $35.04 - $37.43 per hour + 11% Superannuation

An excellent opportunity is available to join the Asset Planning team as Administration Officer - Infrastructure Planning.
About the Role
You will provide administrative support to the Infrastructure Planning Team, the Asset Protection Officers in accordance with Latrobe City Council standards and policies to help minimise damage to public infrastructure assets, avoid pollution and optimise public safety.
The position offers plenty of variety and challenges, as well as the opportunity to gain wider experience and knowledge of the Asset Planning team.
About You
We are seeking someone who has excellent administration experience and great communication skills and can work within a Council policy framework and a team.
You will also have the capability to conduct field inspections as required as part of Half Cost Fencing policy and provide key administration to support the delivery of Special Charge Schemes in accordance with the policy.
Please note, there is a requirement to attend public meetings after business hours.
You will have:
- Demonstrated ability to utilise knowledge from policies and procedures to respond to customer requests, prepare routine correspondence and to maintain confidential data in Pathways
- Ability to work independently and to prioritise and ensure communication is clear and accurate.
- Must have a good understanding of information management systems, good computer skills and a basic knowledge of Local Laws, Policies and Schedule of Fees and Charges.
- Must demonstrate the ability to manage time productively, the ability to meet deadlines and the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Must demonstrate the ability effectively communicate with others, along with the ability to develop and maintain harmonious working relationships to enable co-operation and assistance from colleagues.
- Must have Certificate in Business Administration OR demonstrated relevant experience
