Perkins Builders is now seeking a Junior Administration Officer for a key role within our Perth team. The ideal candidate will be a Year 12 graduate with a ‘can do’ attitude, a strong work ethic, who is reliable and has a willingness to learn. In return, the successful candidate will be offered a permanent role in our supportive admin team. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about the construction industry and be a part of a team supporting our project and estimating teams with high level administrative support. Salary range from $40,000 to $48,000 based on age.
The successful candidate is expected to:
- Represent Perkins Builders as the first point of contact in a warm, professional way;
- Maintain various registers and schedules;
- Ensure boardroom, meeting rooms and kitchens are presented to a high standard;
- Provide administrative support across a range of departments;
- Learn document control and project administration;
- Assist with printing and scanning of documentation;
- Support the estimating team with administration related to tender submissions;
- Assist with the organisation of social events and functions;
- Assist with office coordination for the Balcatta office including ordering supplies, maintaining the office, coordination of vehicle movements etc.;
- General administration duties as required.
To beconsidered for this role candidates must hold the following:
- Excellent communication with outstanding interpersonal skills;
- Professional presentation and polite telephone manner;
- A bubbly, friendly and helpful nature, with a can-do attitude;
- Completion of a Cert II in Business Admin highly valued;
- Above average computer skills;
- Work well as part of a team, as well as autonomously on a variety of tasks;
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail; and
- A full drivers licence.
