The Business Administration Support Services at the Mackay Base Hospital are seeking applications for an Administration Officer Reliever (After Hours) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
- To provide and undertake a diverse range of confidential Administration Support Services across Mackay-based facilities within the Mackay Hospital and Health Service.
- The position requires the successful applicant to work a rotational roster, including after-hours and weekends.
About the Team
Business Administration Support Services (BASS) provides a mechanism to support various work units within the Mackay Hospital & Health Service with appropriately skilled administration staff to backfill administration positions to meet service delivery needs.
The vast majority of the roles for which BASS provides support are patient-facing roles and will involve interaction with patients. The vacancies BASS supports occur as a result of various forms of planned, unplanned or extended leave, including but not limited to:
- Emergent leave
- Planned Leave
- Secondments / Higher duty appointments
- Approved project specific work
