Full-time, Continuing position
HEW 6 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements
Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working
About You
In this role, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing administrative systems, processes, and practices to optimise support for the School of Computing Technologies. You will have exceptional organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Collaboration with both professional and academic colleagues is essential to ensure seamless coordination, delivery, and evaluation of administrative processes. In addition, you will operate with a high level of autonomy, exercising initiative and self-management across a diverse range of functions and responsibilities.
To be successful in this position, you’ll have:
Demonstrated experience in the provision of high-level administrative support.
Ability to work independently and to use initiative to take responsibility for following through enquiries, correspondence, and activities.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads, organise own work and others to meet deadlines and work efficiently and accurately in a busy and complex environment with large volumes of activity.
Ability to quickly learn, adapt and understand new systems, applications, and databases.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision for completing administrative tasks.
Highly developed interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to work co-operatively as a member of a team and ability to effectively communicate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds at all levels of an organisation.
Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and diplomacy with an outcome focused approach.
Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking ability and flexibility to adapt work practices and models according to need.
