THE OPPORTUNITY
Salary: $57,369 - $61,947 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Time Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT.
Location: Moorabbin campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.

The Department of Vocational Education and Training Nursing Programs is seeking an organised and proactive Administration Officer to join the team!
In this role, you will be the initial point of contact, handling key clinical administrative portfolios and offering high-level support to the Clinical Placement Manager. You will provide front-line assistance and information to existing and prospective students/clients, effectively promoting our department both internally and externally.
Additionally, you will support the development and maintenance of industry relationships and partnerships with friendly and efficient administrative services. If you have excellent communication skills and a passion for administrative excellence, we encourage you to apply!
ABOUT YOU
- Relevant diploma or a suitable combination of lesser qualifications and relevant experience.
- Experience in delivering high-level customer service, providing courteous, informative, and accurate responses to all enquiries via face-to-face, telephone, and email.
- Proven ability to coordinate workflow, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a busy, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to relate professionally to internal/external stakeholders and adapt to the changing needs of the department.
- Expertise in contemporary office management practices, procedures, and the latest business and office technology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, database management software, and internet applications.
- Knowledge of student management systems, policies, and procedures related to enrolment, administration, and student rights and responsibilities.
