We are currently looking for an Administration Officer to be our customer service superstar!! Working at our Corporate Head Office in Dowsing Point you will be responsible for accurate document and file management, ordering of supplies including procurement of PPE equipment and stationery and office requirements plus maintenance of internal facility bookings. Your position will provide administrative support across multiple divisions to ensure business continuity.

Your Role as the Administration Officer
Within your position you are responsible for following duties:
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders with a positive manner for incoming and outgoing calls.
- Reception duties.
- Incoming mail and outgoing mail administered daily.
- Stock inventory and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain support for staff with filing of electronic files and the archiving of hard copy files where required to maintain our compliance.
- Online stationary ordering on a fortnightly basis.
- Assist with meeting room management by administering the Nexus Inc. Outlook calendars to schedule meetings to support outcomes for staff, clients, and stakeholders.
- Email booking of pre-employment medicals and employee reference checks.
- Meeting minutes for HR Operations and Business Partnering meetings.
- Receipt of stock for the operation of Nexus Inc and distribution as required.
- Order and maintain staff amenities.
- Additional office support tasks as directed by Manager HR Operations and Business Partnering.
Our successful candidate will have (Selection Criteria):
- Well-developed written and verbal skills with an ability to be able to communicate with a broad demographic.
- Experience with the Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, Word Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint plus experience with Client Management software programs.
- Ability to prioritise workload and organise own working environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a strong ability to converse with multiple stakeholders such as clients, suppliers, Nexus Inc. employees and managers.
- Certificate III in Business or similar or the willingness to acquire.
- Previous experience working in the health care sector (desirable).
Working in the disability sector means you will also need the following:
- Current Working with Vulnerable People Card with NDIS endorsement (or be able to apply for it)
- National Police Check (no more than 6 months old)
- Current unrestricted Tasmanian drivers’ license
- Certificate of up-to-date COVID19 vaccination requirements for the Disability sector.
Note: A pre-employment physical will be required for this role (including drug and alcohol screening).
