About the Role
Position type - Part-time, casual with option to increase. Flexible hours available.
Commencement date: Immediate
We're looking for an experienced part-time administrative assistant to join our Bendigo based team. We require someone to work 15 hours per week (school-friendly hours) in accordance with the below roster:
- Tuesday 9:00am - 2:30pm
- Wednesday 9:00am - 2:30pm
- Thursday 9:00am - 2:30pm
Main Function of Position
Ensure daily administration operations are performed in a seamless and efficient manner to maximize quality and efficiency while reducing costs.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Coordinate and undertake office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
- Assist with workflow management and job scheduling.
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
- Support bookkeeping and accounting procedures, including sending invoices and data entry.
- Assist with the management of timesheets and processing of payroll (data entry).
- Provide admin support to the management team.
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding new employees, including creating and maintaining records and databases.
- Track office and workshop supplies and place orders when necessary.
- Maintain office appearance and organisation.
- Organise and maintain filing systems, including updating policy documents and equipment registers when required.
Qualifications
Essential
- Business administration experience
- Basic knowledge of Xero
- Knowledge of Aroflo
- Driver's License and reliable transport
Desirable
- Knowledge of the building industry
