Requisition ID: REQ476275Applications close: 22 April 2024What you'll be doingProvision of accurate, timely and efficient administrative support to the Medical Administration Team in line with current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.To recruit and onboard Locum Medical Officers for the Coffs Clinical Network in line with department needs.To process and monitor Senior Medical Officer Training, Education and Study Leave (TESL) claims and Professional Support Expenses (PSE) claims.All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA) approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine (except for the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine, which is approved by the TGA as a single dose primary course).New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health or provide an Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) immunisation history statement certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW. A NSW Health agency may require further information about the medical contraindication (including but not limited to an Immunisation Medical Exemption form – IM011 form).Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. - Demonstrated knowledge of working in an administrative environment for a large, complex organisation
- Demonstrated ability and understanding of the requirements to maintain a high level of confidentiality and privacy.
- Demonstrated knowledge to process and monitor Training, Education and Study Leave (TESL) for Staff Specialists and Professional Support Grants (PSE) for Visiting Medical Officers.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to varied audiences.
- Sound interpersonal, communication, problem solving and conflict resolution.
- Possess organisational skills to complete tasks within defined timeframes and proven capacity to manage concurrent activities of a diverse nature.
- Demonstrated competency in computer use and relevant software programs (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, and various health applications.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and as an effective member of a team with minimal supervision.
