Administrative Assistant/Accounts Assistant
We are looking for an additional full time Administrative Assistant /Accounts Assistant for our busy & growing small CBD law firm which is predominantly focused on providing legal advice and representation in workers’ compensation, motor vehicle accidents and personal injuries.
This role will offer a variety of duties, including general Administrative Assistant tasks, together with providing assistance for our Accounts Manager.
You must be very well organised and able to prioritise your work. You will also need to be well spoken and have a friendly manner and able to work as part of a team.
Your main duties will include:
- Opening physical and electronic files;
- Becoming familiar and competent with LEAP;
- Liaising with clients and answering their non-legal related queries. Making appointments for clients, reminding clients of their appointments;
- Liaising with third parties as required such as doctors and other law firms;
- Filing and indexing documents both physically and electronically;
- Keeping diaries for fee earners;
- Typing and drafting basic correspondence and other documents as directed;
- Relief for reception;
- Assisting the Accounts Manager
Your salary will be based on the level of your prior experience. The Legal Services Award applies to this position.
