The Role:
- Person Extraordinaire required to support a busy, dynamic, Nursing Education team. Provides business, project and research related administrative support to the Nursing Director - Education and Research including the administrative management of recruitment, training programs, equipment management, and contract management with training organisations, which is often of a confidential and highly sensitive nature.
- Provide high level administrative support to the Nursing Director - Education and Research and the Hospitals North West Nursing Education team including coordination and oversight of operational and administrative functions.

The Team:
- The THS-NW Nursing Education Team provide clinical training and professional development for nurses across Tasmania Health Service North West. Our programs of work include support of undergraduate nursing students, assistants in nursing, transition of graduate nurses into the workplace, specialty programs such as Emergency nursing, Basic and Advanced Life Support, Central and Peripheral Venous Access, as well as extending the competency of nurses in clinical areas. This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment; the successful applicant will have expert computer skills, be flexible, adept at working in a team, and be able to take on a broad program of work.
Details of Appointment
Fixed term full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from March 2024 until April 2025.

- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $71,661 - $77,455 per annum. Our 11% employer superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2022
