Martin Engineering is seeking an Administrative Assistant to work in our office which is currently in Burleigh Heads. By the end of the year, we will be moving to Southern Brisbane in Yatala. This role will have a variety of tasks to keep the role very interesting. If you like to multitask and be creative here is a synopsis of the job:
- Assist with payroll, including any leave management
- Performs accounts payable and accounts receivable duties
- Assists controller with daily and month-end accounts-related duties and prepares reconciliations.
- Establish People and Culture processes and maintain systems.
- Conduct recruiting efforts for the unit, utilizing online job boards and recruiters. This includes the activities related to onboarding and orientation.
- Prepares paperwork for customer site induction and coordinates with customers to ensure site access for teammates
- Assist with OHS and related training as per each role
- Administer online learning system and track training done locally.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's Degree preferably in accounting, will accept a business degree
- 2- 3 years of administrative experience, preferably with accounting and human resources
- Experience with Microsoft 365, working with databases and other office software.
- Ability to multitask across several types of tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have excellent professional English communication skills to communicate with different stakeholders in the business.
- The ability to work under strict time constraints and the ability to prioritize work
