Privacy Administration Assistant

Our client is a Government agency tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. An exciting opportunity for an experienced Privacy Assistant/Officer to join a large busy team on a 6 month temporary assignmentAbout the role:

• Administration support to the privacy team
• Coordinating and dealing with a number of privacy complaints and incidents
• Record and file management
• Getting involved with projects as required
• Stakeholder engagement - both internal and external

About you:

• You will ideally have experience working with the legislation and requirements relating to the Privacy Act
• You will have strong organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• You will have strong customer service skills, and ability to deal with sensitive matters in a calm and effective manner
• You will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to deal with people at all levels - both internal and external
• You will have intermediate to advanced IT skills

Benefits:

• ASAP start pending Federal Government clearance
• 6 months temporary assignment
• Full time hours Monday to Friday
• Locations - Canberra, Melbourne, Geelong, Brisbane, Sydney, Parramatta and Adelaide
• $43.82 per hour + super
