Work from home position, 15-20hrs over 3-4 days a week.
We are looking for a highly organised, experienced professional to assist with the daily operations of a motivated, tight-knit team working in fine wine distribution. The role engages with all aspects of the company's operations but is primarily a role of inventory management, financial reporting, Sales Support and communication to an array of stakeholders. You will be reporting directly to the company owner/director.

Naked Bunch is a boutique wine distribution business, servicing Queensland & Northern NSW’s top echelon restaurant, bar, and independent retail market. Established on the Gold Coast in 2011, we work with small to medium sized passionate family owned wineries (and a brewery) farming sustainably and producing honest and pure wines. We also partner with the country’s leading importer of Spanish wine and work with a small number of other imports.
About you:
We are looking for the right candidate to fit in to our small but driven team. The right candidate will have:
- Excellent time management and flexibility to flourish in a very diverse roll
- Minimum 3 years experience in office administration, customer service and inventory management
- Strong computer literacy, in particular Excel, Xero, Adobe, Google Suite and Dropbox. Experience with Carton Cloud, Squarespace, Mailchimp preferred but not necessary
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills applied across a range of dynamics from customers to suppliers and our warehouse, freight & other partners
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and ability to understand the relevant reports and business accounts
- High level of attention to detail to ensure our business is represented in a professional manner
- High level of attention to detail to numeracy from spreadsheets to invoices
- Strong sense of accountability, maturity and pride in work standard
- Ability to learn new software systems and present it to the team
- Have an interest in wine and the goals of our business
- Must have a current driver's license (some travel necessary)
About the role:
We are looking for a part time administrator to assist in managing the day to day operations of our busy distribution business. The ability to Work from Home and with flexible hours ( around 9am-2pm) suits a range of professionals looking for engaging roles with a terrific work/life balance.
This is an exciting hybrid role that will always keep you on your toes. You will be handling the administrative needs of a small but fast-paced sales team and communicating closely with the director on all elements of the business. Daily tasks range from Sales Support, inventory management, purchasing, invoicing, communicating with customers and suppliers to data management & reporting. While the role is heavily engaged with Xero & Excel, there are creative aspects of the role in areas of marketing, portfolio, website and social media management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the administrative needs of the team & company director
- Sales support: generating purchase orders & invoices; proposals; reporting (daily, weekly and monthly); communicating quickly and in a timely fashion with sales team
- Communicating with our wineries & third party logistics partners
- Inventory management & control including updating data and advising on inventory needs, managing stock in and out of the warehouse and address any issues with deliveries, breakages and other logistical matters
- Manage a release schedule in co-ordination with suppliers and sales team
- Customer service, dealing with customers directly regarding orders as well as the primary accounts receivable contact regarding payments
- Manage marketing collateral & assist with marketing campaigns
- Maintain company website, sales portfolio and social media/marketing, as well as advising team on new releases.
- Assistant to the director, advising of any general business needs according to structured processes you will be trained in
- Some bookkeeping, chase over-dues, reconcile payments and manage the accounts with the support of our bookkeeper
- Produce & interpret reports for internal and external needs
- Address any other queries in the team & accounts inboxes, as well as general support for the sales team
