Our client, a large Distribution Centre located in Horsley Park, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Training and Compliance Coordinator. As part of their team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by fostering a culture of risk management and Compliance while ensuring the effective operation of quality and safety management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the National DC Inventory & Systems Manager to implement and oversee compliance initiatives
- Identify and coordinate corrective action initiatives and programs.
- Compile data to drive improvement, compliance, and process assurance activities.
- Develop and implement an audit tool
- Identify competency gaps and track progress using a skills matrix
- Present audit findings and strategies to the leadership group
- Business reporting to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience within the warehousing and distribution industry
- Working knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS) functionality
- Experience in business improvement (lean) and managing through change.
- Proven ability to create and implement audit tools
- Strong presentation skills to communicate findings and strategies to the leadership team
- Proficiency in business reporting
