About the Team
The team is responsible for external and internal communications across the organisation, narrative and storytelling, strategic and campaign-based media, brand integrity, leadership positioning, reputation and issues management, change communications, internal culture, publications and stakeholder engagement.
About the role
Within the Strategic Communications Structure, this position has a primary focus on communications on Reimagining Arts Centre Melbourne (RACM).
Maintaining internal team engagement and external communications during an extended period of construction works in and around the Theatres Building will be critical to maintaining stakeholder relationships, elevating our brand storytelling, and to advocating for funding for future phases of the RACM project by demonstrating the value we deliver for government and the Victorian community.
Full-time fixed term position to June 2025. Salary $89,265 p.a. plus superannuation.
Your qualifications, experience, skills and talents
- Tertiary qualification in communications and/or 3 years' experience in communication.
- Creative ability to autonomously shape persuasive and compelling content for a multitude of channels and platforms.
- Storytelling and writing capability that connects with a diversity of audiences.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, both internal and external, to build a community of supporters.
- Understanding of the importance of successful relationship management to achieving success.
- Managing and maintaining contact data/databases.
- Coordination and delivery of projects, meetings, presentations and publications.
- Coordinating contractors and suppliers for delivery of resources and services.
