About the Role:
As a Technical Sales Specialist servicing existing accounts, whilst working to develop new long-term relationships, you will be partaking in strengthening of existing relationships, whilst harvesting and growing new ones.
You are someone that takes pride in their work, thriving on building partnerships, and demonstrating your technical aptitude. With a strong background in transport, or having a mechanical trade, this position is designed for someone who loves all things transport and logistics.
With a technical aptitude you will foster your relationships demonstrating your sound product knowledge. Working with a highly skilled team, a product that is second to none, you will have the backing of the very best.
Your key responsibilities:
- Servicing existing accounts – strengthening existing relationships.
- Business Development – New accounts, building new partnerships.
- Aiding with quoting and product/sales advice
- Maintaining strong knowledge of the market – shifts, pricing, and competitors
- Sales forecasting, budgeting and sales planning
- Reporting, key branch figures to the Group Manager as required.
What we are looking for:
- Trade Qualification is advantageous – Mechanical Fitter
- Experience in a B2B sales position.
- Experience with a CRM such as Pronto or SAP
- Current Drivers Licence
- Experience with material handling.
- Solid knowledge of the mining and transport industries
