Client Details
Growing food manufacturer running 6 lines near Campbelltown requires a second Production Shift Manager to run the afternoon shift (2-10pm) Monday to Friday. This is a huge opportunity to join a business enjoying huged success delivering a premium fresh food product to the main retailers.
Description
Reporting into the Operations Manager you will hold responsibility on a shift basis for people and performance across 6 manufacturing lines and will run the site alongside another Supervisor. You will:
-forge close working relationships with Leaders across maintenance, quality and operations and ensure the efficient use of all plant, equipment and people
-ensure your team of up to 60 operators create world class food products; being responsible for output, labour allocation and planning and safety.
-you will provide daily and weekly production updates to the Operations Manager.
-devise and implement both safety and continuous improvement projects to maximise site effciency
Profile
You will be a proven Production/ Shift Supervisor or Team Manager with at least 2-3 years experience of managing a team of at least 20 staff within a fast paced and dynamic food, packaging or beverage manufacturing environment. You will be able to evidence delivering to challenging and varied production schedules. Ideally you will be Degree qualified but this isn't a prerequisite; the client wants a detail focused and hands on leader with high potential who can motivate and lead from the front in creating world class products for the major retailers.
