Key objectives
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with the Agsafe Industry Standard, Regulations, and best practices across the agricultural chemical industry.
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including regulators, compliance executives, and corporate safety, health, and environment managers.
- Maintain and enhance the Agsafe Industry Standard, ensuring alignment with current regulatory and industry requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support across all aspects of Agsafe’s Member Services programs.
- Oversee the Quality Assurance programs for Agsafe’s premises and training, ensuring consistent high-quality service and accurate information.
- Develop and maintain training materials, including regular reviews for accuracy and relevance.
- Deliver specialised training, such as the Agsafe Masterclass to key stakeholders and their staff.
Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture or Science, or equivalent experience.
- Auditing experience or a willingness to undergo training in auditing procedures.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
Experience and skills
- A proven ability to grasp and implement highly technical concepts in real-life industry situations.
- Strong understanding of compliance concepts and the ability to interpret regulations and similar documents.
- AgChem industry experience (~10-15 years is preferred, depending on qualifications and relevance).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Managerial experience in a technical environment would be an advantage.
