The Role Delta Agribusiness is seeking an individual who is passionate about agricultural production and the rural lifestyle to join our team as an Agronomist in the vibrant south-eastern region of South Australia.Ideally situated in Naracoorte, Keith, or Bordertown, the successful candidate will serve clients across these areas, leveraging our experienced team in the South Australian network. As part of our esteemed team of over 68 agronomists, you'll play a pivotal role in providing exceptional service to our valued clients. Your ability to understand and deliver outstanding performance will be fundamental to your ongoing success.Developing professional relationships with existing clients by providing advice on the full range of Agricultural products and cutting-edge agronomic advice to maximise crop production. This includes plant nutrition, pest management, disease management, product application techniques through all stages of production.Target new clients by maximizing opportunities for the promotion of agronomic services other products and services across the Delta network.Assist in the successful running and co-ordination of field days and farmer meetings.Conduct field demonstrations and trial work for product development in conjunction with key suppliers.Collaborate closely with our dynamic Precision Agriculture team to drive business growth and enhance client success.To be successful in the role you will: The successful candidate must have a degree in agronomy or tertiary qualification of similar nature and must have experience a minimum of 3 years' experience in agronomy or related field.You must have a commitment to achieving team goals, highly developed interpersonal skills and dedication to customer service.An understanding of the products, seasonal timing and general requirements of rural producers within the area.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Your real strength will be your commitment to increase your client's profitability through superior service, continued learning and a willingness to challenge the status quo.For more information or a confidential discussion, please contact Rebecca Rodgers on 0404 818 663 or email rrodgers@deltaag.com.au
