The Role
An exciting opportunity exists within our Office of the Mayor and CEO directorate for an Airport Reporting Officer. In this role, you will be accountable for the inspection, monitoring, reporting and general maintenance of aeronautical safety and security facilities at the Whitsunday Coast Airport while providing quality customer service when liaising with a wide variety of clientele.
Essential
- C Class Drivers Licence.
- Aviation Security Identification Card
- Safety/Reporting Officer Certificate (CASA)
- Aerodrome Reporting Officer Certificate (CASA)
- Aerodrome Works Safety Officer Certificate (CASA)
Desirable
- First Aid Certificate
- Current Airport Reporting Officer’s Certificate or recognised industry equivalent and four(4) years airport operations experience in a similar role
- Radio Telephone Operator Proficiency Licence and appropriate experience
- QLD Firearm Licence and experience in safe management of fire arms
