REPORTING WHIZ REQUIRED IN OUR PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT TEAM
About You
You’re a reporting guru who maintains the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across various databases and systems. A great collaborator with a knack for explaining technical terms in everyday language, you work seamlessly with end users to provide statistical and performance reporting for Council.
You understand the world of Microsoft Structured Query Language (MS SQL) and MS Excel (Power Query) and confidently synthesize data from large and complex datasets. A reporting pro, you build and maintain customised reports and design and implement reporting standards. You provide expert advice and information to stakeholders, have project experience and are always on the lookout for system and process improvements.
The Team
The Business Services and Projects Team within the Planning and Development Services Group provides business services support and delivers business improvement projects and initiatives. Driving operational efficiency and effectiveness is our focus.
About the position
Working within the Planning and Development team and reporting directly to the Coordinator Business Services and Relationships, this role is critical in providing the statistical and performance Reporting and Monitoring quality of information for internal and external stakeholders.

- The annual salary range for this position is $84,383.41 - $87,970.19 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.

How to be successful in this position
- Hold the mandatory qualification(s), training and/or experience, as outlined under the 'Success Criteria' in the Position Description. This includes a degree in Business Administration or Information Technology from a recognised tertiary institute or a combination of extensive experience and qualifications which would enable the successful candidate to perform all the outlined duties.
- Interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Technical skills and knowledge with a deep understanding of Microsoft Structured Query Language (MS SQL) and MS Excel (Power Query), and working knowledge of MS SQL Server Reporting Services (MS SSRS) and databases.
