An initial 9-month contract to the Department of Education as part of the Performance Monitoring and Reporting unit for early childhood and school education. This unit is responsible for the continual development of Reporting and analytics products that deliver essential data directly to Queensland schools and early learning users.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in a quality, compliance, or reporting analyst role;
- Strong experience analysing large volumes of qualitative and quantitative data and developing a variety of reports for a diverse audience, through the ability to summarise and present complex sets of facts, clearly, accurately and succinctly;
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining robust plans and tools for improving the Governance and Reporting function and the documents it develops;
- Proven experience engaging confidently and effectively with multiple and different stakeholder groups, both internally and externally, to explain complex issues in readily understandable way;
- Proven experience managing information for compliance with legislation and/or standards, particularly Queensland Government policies and best-practice standards;
- Strong experience supporting the delivery of large and complex ICT transformation programs/projects, with a strong business focus;
- Proven experience embedding quality and Compliance practices within a State Government program;
- Excellent organisational and time-keeping skills with the ability to self-manage with competing priorities, effectively balancing a number responsibilities including the ability to work to tight timescales, managing priorities, and ensuring timely delivery of quality products.
- Highly developed collaboration skills with proven capability in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships with a wide range of business and technical stakeholders, using those relationships to achieve desired outcomes;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential with the ability to adapt style and tone for different audiences;
- Experience in M365 tool set, including MS Teams and SharePoint, as well as MS Project Online, Power BI, and Content Manager;
- Understanding of data governance frameworks and data management principles, including technologies and processes, would be highly regarded;
