About the Role:
NCN Health have an exciting opportunity for an Allied Health Assistant to join our team in at Nathalia.
The Allied Health & Wellbeing Facilitator works as part of a multidisciplinary Allied Health and Chronic Disease team at NCN Health, providing support in the delivery of exercise services to ensure the delivery of quality, client focused Health and exercise services and programs at our Nathalia campus.
The position will support the implementation of individual and group exercise and/or therapy programs under the guidance of our experienced Allied Health Practitioners, and will be responsible for implementing and supporting a broad range of exercise-based activities to promote client Health and Wellbeing. The will support in maintaining equipment and resources and other administrative functions to contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of services provided.
As an integral part of the multidisciplinary team at NCN Health, the will work under the direction of Allied Health Practitioners and Nursing staff in order to enhance the range of exercise-based Health and Wellbeing program options available to support the Health and Wellbeing of the community.
What we are looking for:
- Vaccination against Covid-19 is a mandatory requirement
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, or Allied Health Professional Student (3rd or 4th Year). Other Health and Wellbeing related qualification may be considered.
- Demonstrated experience in coordination and conducting therapeutic group-based activities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal supervision whilst under the direction of Allied Health professionals in a multidisciplinary team
