About the Role
This is a Permanent, Full Time position at 1.0 FTE within the Physiotherapy Department. You will be responsible for providing clinical and non-clinical support to ensure the smooth running of the Physiotherapy Department. You will be involved in providing assistance for both land-based and aquatic physiotherapy across all teams of the Physiotherapy Department.
Classification for this position is IN30 (base salary $67,272 per annum, plus superannuation).
What you'll achieve:
- Assist physiotherapists in providing assessment and treatment sessions across both the aquatic and land-based environments
- Organise and maintain efficient day-to-day operation of the hospital pool, including direct patient assistance
- Manage physiotherapy department equipment and consumables and liaise with other hospital staff as required when repair or replacement is required
- Assist with clinical administrative tasks to support efficient patient workflow within the hospital system
Your skills and experience
- Certificate IV - Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working with patients in hospital or healthcare environments
- Expereicne working or interacting with children and adolescents
- Water confidence
