Your Role at St John of God Health Care Berwick Hospital
To provide clinical and administrative support to physiotherapists, occupational therapists, other therapy and nursing staff as required.
The Position
Provide clinical assistance to the physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing and other health care professionals as required.
Assist in the completion of incident / hazard / injury reports.
Supervise and assist patients in exercise routines, gait activities and daily living activities as directed by the treating Allied Health care professional.
Assist with patient treatment as required.
Ensure that infection control procedures are strictly adhered to in all areas.
Report all hazards regarding patients promptly to the treating Allied Health caregiver or Nurse Unit Manager.
Provide administrative support to hospital staff as requested by Department Manager.
You will hold a Cert III in Allied Health Assistance, have suitable experience in a similar position or be currently completing tertiary study in an Allied Health discipline.
To succeed, you will have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, an ability to relate to others in a sensitive and professional manner and well-developed organisational skills, with an ability to manage your own workflow and cope with competing demands.

We can offer you
Salary: $49,812 to $51,848 per annum + 11% superannuation
