Accounts Assistant role
We have an exciting opportunity for a new Accounts Assistant to join our team at NeuroRehab Allied Health Network. We are searching for an intelligent, friendly person with exceptional attention to detail to assist primarily with invoicing, reconciliation and accounts follow-up. Liaison with our staff and agencies such as the National Disability Insurance Agency, TAC, Worksafe and My Aged Care case management agencies and private clients is required.
The Accounts Assistant position at hand is available on a 6-month contract basis with full-time availability and will be based from our Deer Park office space with a hybrid split (work from home and in-office).
The base pay rate for the role is based on the Health Professionals and Support Services award – support services level 6 of $28.53/hr or $56,375.28 pa and 11% superannuation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Account reconciliation.
- Accounts receivable/payable.
- Liaison with Insurers, NDIS, TAC, Worksafe, Medicare etc.
- Third-party payer database management.
- Generate and distribute fortnightly therapist invoices.
- Liaise directly with therapists to ensure invoicing and funding are correct.
- Following up on accounts receivable/aging debtors.
- Attending to account enquiries by phone or email.
- Occasional cover of reception duties.
Skills Required
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Great interpersonal skills.
- An eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.
- An interest in the medical/disability industry.
- Experience with Microsoft Office/Office 365.
- Prior medical administration or accounts experience is advantageous.
- NDIS/disability services experience is even more advantageous!
- Efficient multi-tasker.
- Great communication skills (adding a well-structured cover letter to your application is a great way of showing us this!)
