Part Time Allied Health Receptionist

We are looking for a warm, friendly and dedicated receptionist to join our growing team.

• Monday - Friday (15 - 20 hours, negotiable for the right candidate) most likely falling on Wednesday and Thursday with potential for the role to increase in hours.

• Rosebud Location

• Position commencing February 2024

Our warm, light filled clinic is based in Rosebud on the Mornington Peninsula.

We currently offer Allied Health treatments in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Massage, Kinesiology, Ayurveda and Counselling.

Our offerings also include Yoga and Meditation Classes and Infrared Sauna Sessions.

We are here to provide natural health solutions for people on the Peninsula and greater Melbourne areas. Our dream for this space is to become a wellness retreat in which anyone can find their centre and a means to relax. Whether they’re seeking professional guidance through natural therapies, or to indulge in some peace and mindfulness via our infra-red sauna or varied yoga and meditation classes. 

We are a small and welcoming team who value a warm and supportive workplace environment. 

~ About You ~ 

Applicants must have a mature and empathetic approach with excellent communication skills. You must be self-motivated, accountable and possess a strong team player attitude.

This is a role demands your multi-tasking abilities, organisation skills, forward thinking and efficient time management. The successful applicant would be required to support all aspects of Allied Health reception, including answering phone calls, managing practitioner schedules using electronic client management systems, administrative duties, assisting with herbal script dispensing, be able to work as an effective and efficient member of our team, while providing supportive and professional assistance to our clients and practitioners.

To be considered for this role you must be efficient in the following:

• Manage scheduling and appointment systems (Cliniko & Squarespace Scheduling specifically - Training provided)
• Computer literacy, including emails, web browsing, using MS word and excel, as well as the ability to learn our practice management system
• Warm, friendly and approachable customer service skills, and a desire to meet and exceed patient expectations.
• High level of knowledge with social media platforms (Instagram preferable)
• Excellent organisation skills
• Patient/Practitioner confidentiality and consideration
• Multitasking by using systems and answering phones and taking phone payments
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work within, and contribute positively to, a team environment, but also be able to work autonomously and be inherently self-motivated
• Accurate record keeping
• Efficient time management skills
• Knowledgable with the use of HICAPS and Allied Health providers

The desired applicant should be open to, and available for, leave support as you will be sharing this role with other receptionists.  

Remuneration for this position will be in accordance with the Health & Allied Services Award.
