Grow your career with a global retailer as an Analyst within our National IT team at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a fixed term 12-month contract position.
As an Analyst, you will partner with project managers, business, and IT to document and manage the Australian software landscape and support the development and implementation of technical solutions.

What does the role look like?
- Coordinate National efforts to identify and map applications and data flows used across the business landscape, using LeanIX.
- Identify gaps / inefficiencies in Architecture and software capabilities and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Train and guide application owners (IT and business) on how to document and maintain key information for applications within their responsibility.
- Guide and monitor the planning and execution of decommissioning applications.
- Provide guidance on new software acquisitions to ensure software is “fit for purpose.”
- Collaborate with national stakeholders (IT, Business Leads) as well as central stakeholders (International teams) with respect to local software architecture.
- Work with international counterparts on data gathering and facilitating application surveys.
- Facilitate Application Portfolio Management sessions with Business and IT leads to review and decide on the future of applications (keep / decommission).
- Work with the National Development team to develop national applications for business stakeholders on a part time basis.
Qualifications
What do we need from you?
- Experience working with LeanIX and Signavio desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to understand system architectures (hardware, networks, and applications) and how they can interact, including data flow methodologies between applications.
- Demonstrated experience in training and presenting to technical and non-technical audiences on complex technical subjects.
- Experience with application development is also highly regarded.
- Prior experience in FMCG environment advantageous
