The Role
Reporting to the Managing Partner, the Head of Workforce Development and Support provides oversight for a team of support consultants nationally and internationally. The role is responsible for leading the development and review of research, training, programs and services across Untapped. Bringing applied communication skills, the Head of Workforce Development and Support is a natural influencer, who inspires and sets a supportive cultural environment for the team. You will be an allied health professional with drive and energy.
As the Head of Workforce Development and Support you will -
- Manage a team of consultants, across a range of Untapped specialisations such as Neurodiverse, First Nations, Veterans, CALD etc.
- Lead development and delivery of ventures and service models in a range of local and international settings.
- Champion and communicate the strategic and operational direction to direct reports.
- Bring a high level of personal drive with the ability to foster relationships that reflect a positive cultural environment.
- Demonstrate leadership to build client experiences and align growth opportunities for Untapped.
- Have leadership representative at relevant forums, events and workshops delivering key messaging which consistently reflects the vision of Untapped.
- Flexible work arrangements, including work from home
- Can be located in Melbourne or Sydney - some travel required.
Required
- Experience working with complexity and ability to work across a diverse range of settings.
- Outstanding leadership abilities applying a strengths-based approach, with experience overseeing teams and inspiring others.
- Ability to manage a local and international team of Neurodiversity Support Consultants, First Nations Consultant, Veterans Consultants and Workforce Support Consultants providing regular allied health oversight, care and support.
- High professionalism with communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with autonomy and creativity to drive projects and deliverables.
- An allied health professional (such as psychologist, social worker, occupational therapist), who has a strong understanding of contemporary practices, trends and opportunities.
