Opportunity for an AO3 Administration Officer in state government! Your new company Is a state government statutory body responsible for the regulation of licenced brothels in Queensland. Its functions include the issuing of brothel licences, manager certificates, maintaining advertising guidelines and ensuring compliance with legislation. Your new role Your contribution will be through a variety of activities such as:
The administration of brothel licences and managers' certificates
Ensuring licenced brothels in Queensland continue to operate responsibly
Provide informative, timely and quality advice and guidance about licence and certificate requirements
Evaluate applications to ensure legislative conditions are met
Assessing suitability of candidates for licence or certificate
Contribute to financial operations functions such as expense, invoice and vendor management, accounting support, receipting, reconciliations and data uploads
Prepare or assist in the preparation of reports, submissions, briefs and correspondence related to financial and probity investigations
What you'll need to succeed
Ability to interpret and apply legislated provisions
Maintain a high degree of probity and confidentiality
MUST HAVE STATE GOVERNMENT EXPERIENCE
