Position Description
The Finance Department are currently seeking a Team Leader for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to support the Finance Manager in ensuring the proper financial management of our agencies. This is a Permanent Full-Time position based at our Newcastle West office.
Key Tasks:
- Provide guidance, support and assistance to ensure team are following correct process.
- Serve as primary contact for resolving AR/AP issues.
- Prepare weekly EFT & Bpay payments.
- Assist and resolve AR/AP enquiries.
Experience/Criteria
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, where you are the subject matter expert.
- Experience using a large ERP software, such as TechnologyOne.
- Providing support and guidance to team members.
- Manage high volume of transactions in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to manage all escalated internal and external AR/AP issues.
- An understanding of and the application of key accounting concepts and taxation.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and implementation of new software and processes.
- High level computer literacy including experience, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills.
Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Accounting (Desirable)
