Our client is looking for an AP Officer on full-time permanent basis reporting directly to the Group Finance Manager.
You are responsible for running the AP function, and providing other general accounting support to the Financial Accountants.
Key accountabilities
- Ensuring that accounts and invoices are paid in line with credit terms
- Processing of creditor invoices in accordance with appropriate creditor payment terms
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Running daily/weekly/monthly payable reports
- Reconciliation of vendor statements against internal data systems
- Supporting the Financial Accountant with reporting and month end responsibilities
What we are looking for
- Previous AP experience and exposure to other accountancy support tasks
- Highly organised
- Ability to maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Someone who is a self-started and proactive
- Strong Excel skills a must-have, and MYOB experience preferred
