Position responsibilities & objectivesAs the company has scaled they have introduced a Business Improvement function internally that is tasked with overseeing the implementation of new systems, project & business tools and strategic initiatives to ensure consistency, governance and enhanced decision making across the company’s development and construction activities.
The APAC Operations Manager is the first role in the region focused on the business operations function and will be tasked with working across all the internal business heads to roll out new systems and processes and refreshing the strategy for the region to ensure continued growth.
This is a critical hire for the APAC region to become standalone (from head office in Europe) and to continue the global objectives and expansion targets.
Critical success factors
- Excellent project management foundational knowledge and exposure to a range of tools to enhance project forecasting, financial management and scheduling
- An good appreciation of risk management processes and how to effectively identify and track these through development & construction
- Experience with Renewable Energy development and construction is highly desirable, or alternatively other infrastructure or high value and complex projects is ideal
- High levels of initiative and self drive to initiate large system rollouts and introduce best practice operations
- A combination of detail orientation with a strategic mind
