Seeking two experienced AO6 Application Specialists to join our Digital Application Services unit on a fixed term temporary full-time basis. This role is based centrally in Fortitude Valley and will be required to ensure the maintenance of defined service levels for Identity and Access Management application by providing customer focused service delivery management, high level specialist advice and support.

The role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our experienced Technical team. The successful candidate will ensure the development and maintenance of enterprise systems by providing customer focused and high-level specialist advice and support.
Key responsibilities include:

• Provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, within the ITIL framework
• Ensure end to end service delivery for enterprise systems within Queensland Health by establishing and maintaining highly effective working relationships with other technical specialists, Application Specialists, vendors and end users
• Provide timely application support activity reports to stakeholders
• Assist in the ongoing development, maintenance and deployment of application specific guides, work instructions and technical documents.

Are you right for this role?
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate high level understanding and technical skills in the following:

• Demonstrated ability in developing and promoting ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / test / change and configuration management. (SFIA: USUP Level 4, PBMG Level 4, CHMG Level 4, CFMG Level 3, TEST Level 3)
• Demonstrated ability in the provision of high level specialist advice on, and support for, clinical enterprise applications. (SFIA: TECH Level 5)
• Demonstrated ability to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT / Clinical Business environment. (SFIA: SLMO Level 4)
• Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions. (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
• Well-developed ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with team members, other technical specialists, Application Specialists, vendors and end users. (NHS: Collaborative Working).
• Experience with service management of Identity and Access for a large organisation is desirable.

Specific Working Conditions:

• Previous clinical health application support experience preferred
• Participation in on-call arrangements may be required for this position. Appropriate remuneration under the Award will apply
• This position may be required to work at different sites.
