Application Support (Quintiq)

Our client is looking to fill a vacancy within their IT Applications team. This is an operational position wiith a focus on Quintiq applications and will provide exceptional & timely support to users.

It specialises in the packing and supply of meat products to major retailers across Europe and Australia, operating state-of-the-art facilities and focusing on delivering high-quality, innovative, and sustainable meat solutions.

Description

The primary responsibilities will include:

• Offer prompt and precise technical assistance to Quintiq application users.
• Identify and resolve various technical issues, encompassing software glitches, configuration challenges, and user mistakes.
• Record and escalate intricate issues to development and implementation teams.
• Create and manage knowledge base articles and other user guides.
• Provide fundamental user training and address inquiries regarding Quintiq features.
• Keep abreast of the most recent Quintiq releases and enhancements, and how these translate to business benefits
• Work closely with internal and external partners to streamline issue resolution.
• Engage in ongoing improvement endeavours to elevate support procedures and user satisfaction

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following desirable factors:

• Experience using Quintiq applications or similar supply chain and manufacturing planning software
• Minimum 2 Years experience in a similar Application Support role
• Experience with SAP and other ERP Systems
• Knowledge of planning processes in manufacturing, including production planning, scheduling, and inventory management
• A high level of technical and drive to address application issues without direction
• An analytic mindset that will constantly look at streamlining processes and continuous opportunities for improvement
• The ability to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams
• The ability to change mindsets relating to Qunitiq use & the need for best practise security measures
